  • HID Kit Installation Reverse Polarity

    One of the most common questions regarding aftermarket HID Kits is Why does nothing come on at all? The most common solution is reverse polarity. In this video we will demonstrate how to reverse the polarity on your HID Kit. By reversing the polarity you are simply putting the positive and negative wires back to the correct sides. Since aftermarket HID Kits are not vehicle specific the pin out of the positive and negative wires can be reversed which is the problem this solves.

  • Single Beam HID Kit Installation (No Relay)

    This video shows a Single Beam HID Kit installation without a relay. This particular application is a 9006 bulb type which happens to be the default connector style on all aftermarket HID ballasts. In other single beam bulb sizes the bulbs will have an adapter wire which will match the 9006 style connection on the ballast on one end and the other end will match your factory bulb size connector.

    This video shows a spade wire adapter installation. Being aftermarket HID Kits are just that "aftermarket" some sizes do not come with an exact connector to match your factory connector. This is when the spade wire adapter comes in to play. Also this video may be helpful for other applications such as a 9004/9007 where the pin configuration may need to be changed.

  • HID Resistor & Capacitors/Warning Canceler Installation

    This video will show you how to install our HID Resistor harness as well as our anti-flicker capacitor/warning cancelers. The first portion of the video will reference installation of our HID Resistor Harness on a bi-xenon application. In some instances with bi-xenon (Dual Beam HID) the resistance needs to take place before the relay. We take you through step by step on how to properly install your resistors and the troubleshooting techniques to determine if this is the accessory you need. The second portion of this video takes you through the installation of our anti-flicker capacitor/warning cancelers. We will also take you through this process and explain the theory of the capaitors, how to install them and whether you may or may not require them for your installation.
